This past weekend our Holy Ghost Parish and School community celebrated 65 years as a beautiful community of Christ. We began our celebration at the ABQ Bio-Park for a special dinner and drawing of our SouthWest Airlines raffle.
The inaugural Promise for Our Future Run in 2017 attracted 170+ participants; this year we hope to have over 200 participants! Your participation in this event is vital to the work we do within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. The funds raised through this event support tuition assistance for those families who desire a Catholic Education for their children, but cannot afford one. (Read More)

Archbishop Michael J. Sheehan was installed as Archbishop of Santa Fe on September 21, 1993. Archbishop Sheehan is a strong supporter of Catholic Schools. We honor his legacy with the Archbishop Michael J. Sheehan Scholarship. Interested applicants must be Catholic, in grades kindergarten to eighth grade. Presently enrolled in one of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Catholic schools.
Congratulations to seventh grader Lily Chacon who has be recognized as one of the top youth volunteers in the state! Lily Chacon, a 12-year-old who attends Holy Ghost Catholic School, will represent New Mexico in the 2018 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.The awards honor young people for outstanding acts of volunteerism.

Catholic Schools Week begins on Jan. 29th this year. During that week, we will join with Catholic Schools across our country in celebrating the success of our Catholic schools. Each of the 17 Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe has planned a variety of activities to commemorate this week.
Holy Ghost Catholic School honored close to 50 Veterans at an annual Veteran’s Day program. Brent Colvis, Master Sergeant in the US Air force. was the guest speaker for a gymnasium full of families, friends and parishioners. The students sang patriotic songs and our boys and girl scouts did a flag raising in the courtyard.
Holy Ghost Catholic School is an elementary and middle school dedicated to the Catholic faith and Catholic education. We at Holy Ghost are deeply commited to ensuring that no child is turned away because of his or her family's inability to pay our school's full tuition! The Adopt-A-Student Tuition assistance program is one of the ways Holy Ghost provides support to families in need.
The 8th grade has arranged a fundraising event at Buffalo Wild Wings tomorrow, Thursday, Nov 9. If you present the ticket to your server, the restaurant will donate 10% of the bill to Holy Ghost. On Friday October 6, 2017 Holy Ghost Catholic School hosted our annual Parish and School Reunion at the ABQ Bio Park's Shark Reef Cafe. We where deeply honored to have many of our Alumni in attendance as well as our Teachers, Staff, Families and our Parish Administrator Fr. Thomas.
